Plans have been submitted to East Lindsey District Council that could pave the way for a children’s play area on the Fairfield Industrial Estate.

Mr J J Waumsley put in the ‘change of use’ planning application on March 28.

If permission is granted, this would see Unit One on Bolingbroke Road being converted from a former carpet showroom and warehouse into an indoor children’s play area with additional car parking provision.

The plans would provide eight new car parking spaces at the site, bringing the total up to ten.

The standard consultation period is due to end on April 25.
