Choral Society presents Broadway Nights

Louth Choral Society's summer concert, '˜Broadway Nights' is taking place from 7.30pm on Sunday, July 3, and will be held at St James's Church, in Louth.

The concert will be conducted by Martin Pickering.

Featuring well-known classics from Broadway, the choir will perform choruses specially arranged for choirs.

Included will be favourites from Show Boat, written by musical giants Oscar Hammerstein II and P.G. Wodehouse, music by Jerome Kern, now showing in the West End and The Lion King, composed by Elton John and lyricist Tim Rice. There will be many more musical gems to delight audience members who are sure to be tempted to join in.

The choir is pleased to be joined by the renowned Barry Whitfield Trio while Louth Junior Choir conducted by Kate Witney will be sure to delight.
