Two members of the Manby based Clarriots Care team have been shortlisted for the Great East Midlands Care Awards, the regional awards of the Great British Care Awards.
Treza Casterton, Home Carer with Clarriots Care, has been shortlisted for the Home Care Worker Award which recognises the significant role of the home care worker in consistently providing a high quality standard for people living in their own homes.
Kirsty Barnett is shortlisted for the Home Care Registered Manager Award which credits those who demonstrate a high level of expertise together with exceptional skills in managing the complex business of providing support and care to people in their own homes.
Treza and Kirsty, along with up to 100 other finalists for the 19 categories of the Great East Midlands Care Awards, will now meet a panel of three judges, who are all key professionals at senior management level from the care industry.
James Carratt, Managing Director of Clarriots Care, said: “Both Treza and Kirsty have overcome their own personal challenges in recent times, yet they have continued to deliver our care services to the utmost standards. Whether they win the award in their nominated categories or not, they are both very inspirational ladies and they are held in the highest regard by their peers and Clarriots Care.”
All finalists following the panel selection process will be invited to attend a sgala dinner at the Belfry Hotel in Nottingham next month when the winners will be announced.
The winners from the regional awards will then be invited to attend the national finals for the home care sector in April 2014 at a prestigious London venue.
