A MABLETHORPE charity have been handed more than £2,000 thanks to local fundraisers.

St Vincent’s Deaf Camp has been running for 32 years, hosting week-long holidays for deaf children.

And a group of fundraisers have raised the money for them through events and sponsorships with funds gratefully received from the likes of the Rotary and Lions clubs, 10k runner Steve Coppin and many more.

On Saturday Leasa Sivyer of Mablethorpe volunteered to have her head shaved and, combined with a fundraising day, raised a further £300.
