Colin Blades Memorial Fund Charity football match at Park Avenue in Louth

GO along to support the eighth annual Colin Blades Memorial Fund Charity football match on Saturday May 26 at Park Avenue, Louth.

An East Lincs Combination Select XI will take on their customary rivals Louth Town FC.

Following the main match, a Louth over 35 side will play a villagers over 35 team in the Legends of the Game match.

Anybody who would like to play in the Louth over 35s can text Eddie Clark on 07824 324160 and to play for the villagers text Beetle Towse on 07851 144778.

It is 30 minutes each way with roll on roll of subs so no one is too old or too unfit!

The match is played in memory of Colin Blades who was killed in a work place accident in 2004.

Over the last eight years the fund has raised over £30,000 and this has gone to help local people and sports at grass roots level within the district.

There will be a raffle and barbeque on the day and if you would like to donate a raffle prize, please take it along.

Gates open at 2.30pm and the first kick off is scheduled for 3pm.

Admission fees are £2.50 (adults) and £1 (under 16’s).
