Communities benefit from district councillor grants

Community groups are benefitting from a number of grants made by East Lindsey District Councillors in the Louth area.

Councillor Adam Grist awarded £350 to Welton le Wold Parish Meeting towards drainage work and re-gravelling of a path and a further £475 to Legbourne Parish Council towards the completion of its neighbourhood plan application.

Ludford district councillor Daniel Simpson awarded £825 to Donington on Bain Village Hall towards redecoration.

Louth councillor Jill Makinson-Sanders awarded St James’ Church Education Project £626 towards publicity and its website project while fellow ward councillor Pauline Watson awarded Louth Town Partnership’s Zero Degrees Festival £505 towards publicity material.

Louth Town Council was also awarded £350 to buy a new planter for the town. The money was also given by Councillor Watson.

All of the grants came from East Lindsey District Council’s Councillor Initiative Fund.
