Cordeaux students take part in British Science Association day

Students at Cordeaux School in Louth were lucky enough to be part of one of ten schools taking part in a new award run by the British Science Association.

The school recently held a science day for the ‘CREST in a Day’ scheme, working in large teams to complete practical activities culminating in the designing of a community garden.

Students considered theme and design, construction, wildlife and sustainability.

A wide mix of garden designs were produced including a beer garden, a Mario themed garden, a country garden, a sensory and colour garden and a Japanese garden and each student earned a CREST in a Day award for their efforts.
