(Correction: The telephone number provided in the previous article was incorrect. Anybody who wants further information about the fibromyalgia support group should call Maureen on 01507 608254).

A support group to help fibromyalgia sufferers in the Louth area takes place on the last Thursday of every month, between 11am and 2pm. The group meets at the Mayfair Family Club in Birch Road.

Fibromyalgia is a long-term condition that can cause pain all over the body, often including fatigue, muscle stiffness and increased sensitivity to pain. It can be a difficult condition to diagnose as there is no specific test for it, and has symptoms very similar to a number of other illnesses.

Anybody who has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, or suspects they may suffer from the condition, is welcome to come along to the support group.

For more information, call Maureen on 01507 608254.
