People have just two more weeks to put themselves forward for a by-election in Louth in April.

Louth Town Council have a vacancy on the Trinity ward, representing the area at bottom end of Eastgate, Eastfield Road, Park Avenue, St Bernard’s Avenue and Monks’ Dyke Road.

This follows the recent resignation of Mrs Gill Burton, and an election was called earlier this year.

An election will be held on Thursday, April 11 and anyone wishing to find out more should contact the elections officer at East Lindsey District Council, Mrs S Brewitt on 01507 601111 to obtain a nomination pack.

The elected councillor will serve until the next round of council elections in May 2015.

Forms must be completed and returned to ELDC by Wednesday, March 13.
