Council to probe complaint over turbine built near Louth
A COMPLAINT against the approval of a wind turbine between Yarburgh and Alvingham is to be investigated.
East Lindsey District Council gave a Mr AC Jacklin planning permission back in March.
But Yarburgh resident Andrew McLaren wrote to the local authority suggesting that Yarburgh Parish Council should have also been consulted as well as the council in Alvingham.
He said this meant Yarburgh residents did not know about the application and were not given the chance to air their views.
An ELDC spokesman said: “In light of the seriousness of the points raised, the district council will investigate the matter thoroughly to be fair to all parties.”
