Crews called to put out rubbish blaze in Mablethorpe

THREE fire crews attended a rubbish fire in Alford Road in Mablethorpe on Friday evening.

The Mablethorpe crew were called at 5.07pm and asked for further help from their North Somercotes and Alford colleagues.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue say a caravan and two-floor building, used as a holiday home, as well as a car were damaged in the blaze.

Crews used two hose reels to put out the fire and remained on site as there were gas canisters involved.
