Design entries needed for Mablethorpe’s In Bloom bid
Mablethorpe in Bloom.
KEEN local designers and artists are being called upon to help create the signage for Mablethorpe in Bloom’s 2012 bid, and win a prize!
The volunteers on the Mablethorpe In Bloom committee are looking for a brand new logo to be used on website pages, correspondence, plaques, brochures and signs.
They are also on the lookout for a front cover picture depicting Mablethorpe in Bloom for the front cover of the town’s portfolio brochure for the competition.
There are prizes of £20 apiece for those who submit the successful entries.
Town Manager Karen Froggatt said: “I am sure everyone agrees that the wonderful floral displays do have a positive effect on the town.
“We want Mablethorpe to be a greener, cleaner and more attractive place to work, live and visit.”
Take part by contacting Karen Froggatt on karen.froggatt@e-lindsey.gov.uk or 07917 628171. Entries must be received by Friday, May 18.
l The judges’ visits for the 2012 East Midlands in Bloom competition are set to take place in July.
