The Mayor of Louth, Councillor Sue Locking, attended with her Consort. She spoke to residents and read out quotes from a dignity box in which everyone - residents, visitors, staff - had put what dignity meant to them.

The Mayor also read poems, including one written by Fotherby House Dignity Champion.

There was fantastic entertainment from Lincoln based group, Jack Of Diamonds, and residents joined in with a sing-along and dancing where possible.

Fotherby House also had a ‘dignity cake’ designed by their chef, and a full 1940s Buffet.
