Distraction burglary in Eastgate

PC Kelly Palmer is investigating a distraction burglary that took place at a shop in Eastgate, Louth, between 1.30pm and 2.15pm on Saturday 9th November 2013.

During the offence, a woman distracted the member of staff whilst an accomplice entered a private office area and stole a black Osprey bag containing cash, a black Samsung Galaxy Ace phone and a number of other items, including a small ivory elephant ornament and a pen.

The female is described as aged 50-60, 5’ 4” tall, of slim build, with tight curly blonde hair and a thin face. The man who took the bag is described as being his 30s, around 5’ 7” tall, of thin build with very dark black hair. He was wearing black trousers and jacket.
