This 'dozy parker' pulled up on to the pavement outside Parkinson's chip shop in Eastgate.

Did you spot this ‘dozy parker’ in Eastgate yesterday?

In an extraordinarily awful display of parking, the silver car swung round from the road and mounted the kerb outside Parkinson’s chip shop, opposite Wilkinsons.

The driver then left the car and went about their day, leaving onlookers stunned.

One onlooker, Steve Beasley, took the photograph above. He was buying his lunch from Parkinson’s chip shop at the time.

He said: “We saw the car coming towards us, and we didn’t think it was going to stop. We thought it was going to come crashing through the front window.

“We all ran to the back of the shop, and when we came back out the driver had got out and gone.

“It was unbelievable. Only in Louth!”
