Driver fails breath test after Louth car crash

A 21-year-old woman from Louth was arrested for failing a breath test following a crash in Louth, where a vehicle hit the side of a building. Emergency services were called to Northgate at around 1.40am this morning (Thursday December 19) after a Vauxhall Corsa left the road and hit a building.

The driver, and a female front seat passenger from Marshchapel, were treated at hospital in Grimsby for minor injuries. The driver was arrested for failing a breath test and she is currently on bail until the New Year.

A 27 year-old man, who was a rear seat passenger, was uninjured.
