A family fun day will take place at Louth market on Friday August 15.
Attractions will include Punch and Judy Shows at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm, as well as a guest appearance from Peppa Pig, children’s rides, face painting, candy floss, and ice-cream stalls – plenty of family fun to keep the youngsters entertained while school is out.
The usual market traders will also be there on the day, and similar fun days will also take place in Spilsby on August 11 and Horncastle on August 14.
Portfolio Holder for the Environment, Councillor Steve O’Dare, said: “Our market towns have so much to offer – not least our weekly street markets offering a whole host of fantastic products from food to clothing and gifts to accessories.
“It therefore makes sense that the markets are to host these family fun days, offering even more of a reason to visit the markets. Add to this the unique independent shops, cafes and restaurants, and you can see why our market towns are so popular.”
