Fault on network caused power cut in Louth
A FAULT on the high voltage network was the cause of last week’s power cut in Louth.
A Northern Powergrid spokesman said: “The interruption to the electricity supply was caused by a fault on the high voltage network serving the area just after 10pm on Wednesday June 30.
“Our engineers were dispatched to carry out repairs and everyone was reconnected by early the next morning.”
Around half of the town was affected by the incident.
