Fight is on for best small town award
MABLETHORPE has secured their place in the second round of Lincolnshire’s best kept villages and small towns competition 2012.
This is the 50th year the competition has been running and the selected small towns and villages will now be battling it out during this month’s judging for a position in the final round which will take place in September.
The competition is organised by Teresa Palmer of Community Lincs, and is run in partnership with the Lincolnshire Branch of CPRE, with continued sponsorship from, the District Councils, Lincolnshire County Council and Pennells Garden Centres.
Mablethorpe will be up against nine other local small towns for their place in the final stage.
