The crew was able to assist with the incident shortly after 6pm, and they administered first aid to those involved - and later tweeted that they had been in the ‘right place’ at the right time.

A Louth fire crew also attended an incident in Spire View Close, Louth, at 2.30am today (Sunday), in which they used two hose reels to tackle a blaze affecting some wheelie bins, a conifer hedge, and a wooden shed.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
