Focus on falls at Louth County Hospital
STAFF at Louth County Hospital and other hospitals in Lincolnshire have launched a ‘major push’ to help prevent patients from falling whilst in hospital.
As part of the Safety Express Plus project, United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is intensifying its focus on key areas each month and during September the focus is on falls
Quality and Safety Manager for United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Dr Steve Cross, said that falls are a real problem, with thousands happening every year.
