Food For Life Partnership National Roast Dinner Day with King Edward VI Grammar School

The Food For Life Partnership National Roast Dinner Day was held recently.

Two local schools who served up a tasty roast dinner were Donington on Bain Primary and St Michaels C of E Primary.

Catering at both schools is provided by the King Edward VI Grammar School Catering team headed by local chef Stuart Taylor.

They tucked into roasted Lincolnshire pork with oven roasted potatoes, carrots, beans, broccoli and leeks, followed by a vanilla sponge crumble. “Roast Dinners are obviously still a popular choice with the children as the take up numbers are higher on these days,” said Stuart.
