A production called ‘Leaving Home’, which is produced by BBC Radio Lincolnshire alongside the University of Lincoln’s School of Performing Arts, will be making a one-off performance in Louth this Thursday (July 17).

The project will mark the tragic loss suffered by the local Beechey family, who were one of only a handful in the country to lose five sons during the First World War.

The Louth performance will include a performance from RAF Cranwell Military Wives Choir and a reading of an original radio drama, telling the story of the Beechey family.
