Free volunteer training sessions are available in Mablethorpe this month.

A free training programme is being offered in Mablethorpe for people who are or want to become volunteers.

The two days training will take place at The Coastal Centre in Victoria Road as part of the Lincolnshire volunteer card scheme.

The Lincolnshire volunteer card scheme is a countywide programme, which provides free training to become a recognised Lincolnshire volunteer.

Anyone aged 16 and over can attend and no previous qualifications are needed. The skills gained are relevant for paid jobs too.

The six subject areas essential to volunteering will be covered and includes customer care, good practice standards, equality and diversity, health and safety, safeguarding and confidentiality and team working.

The programme is endorsed by Lincolnshire County Council, Lincolnshire Health and Well-being Fund and Involving Lincs.

Complete the two sessions and be rewarded with your card and certificate.
