Gayton le Wold Snowdrop Flower Festival
St Peter’s Church, Gayton le Wold which is part of the Parish of the Asterby Group is to host its annual Snowdrop Flower Festival weekend on Saturday February 16 and Sunday February 17 with all proceeds in aid of the parish church funds.
The church will be open from 10.30am each day to 3.30pm on the Saturday and 3pm on the Sunday when it will close with a short service of evening praise.
An invitation is extended to everyone to go along and enjoy the delightful carpets of flowers around the church as they remind us that spring is on its way together with those arranged inside.
Refreshments will be available throughout the weekend together will snowdrop bulbs ‘in the green’ for transplanting.
