Handbag stolen from car in Louth
THE passenger side window of car was smashed and a handbag containing a purse, cash, bank cards, driving licence and house keys was stolen.
The silver Hyundai was parked in Monks Dyke Road, Louth, when the incident happened just before 9pm on Thursday night.
Police are reminding people not to leave valuable items in unattended vehicles.
Inspector Sean McAllister warned: "It only takes a matter of seconds to smash a vehicle's window and grab any items left on show. Our advice is to remove all temptation from your vehicle when you leave it unattended.
"By doing this, you're lessening the chance to being targeted."
