A TRUSTHORPE man is appealing for help after thieves vandalised one of his cars whilst he was away on holiday.

David Tate, of Mile Lane, jetted off to Kos from June 14 until June 22 and upon his return found that the front valance of his 1996 Ford Escort had been taken.

Foster carer David said: “It’s unbelievable; they’ve come onto my land and just taken the front of the car.

“It must have taken at least an hour to take off, and no-one has seen anything.

“They’re scum really, they’ll make a few hundred pounds from it but it will cost me a huge amount to replace.”

David is appealing for anyone who might know more to get in touch through the Leader on 01507 353200.
