Splitting Up? Put Kids First is a new project supporting separated and separating parents being launched by Home-Start East Lindsey.

It aims to provide parents with online help and support at an early stage of separation, helping to secure better outcomes for children involved.

It is funded by the Department of Work and Pensions Innovation Fund and Home-Start is collaborating with OnePlusOne and Family Matters Institute. Home-Start East Lindsey is one of just eight local Home-Starts across the UK piloting this innovative early intervention tool for parents that have separated, or are in the process of separating. “Our volunteers will receive special training to use a new, free, online tool that has been developed by OnePlusOne,” explained Tracey Ruddock, Home-Start East Lindsey manager. “They will identify and support local parents who would benefit from using it but are unlikely to access it independently. “
