Houses turned down in Louth
A proposed 13 house development off Quarry Road, Louth, has been refused planning permission.
At a meeting on Thursday, East Lindsey district councillors followed the recommendation of officers to turn down the application by London & Dowsby Properties Ltd.
Because of the location near to a brow of the hill off Upgate, planning committee members felt there would be a risk to highway safety.
In addition, concerns were expressed about flood risk on a steeply sloping site and about an overbearing impact on neighbouring properties
