Over £230 has been raised for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent in memory of Louth teenager Nicole Williams, and donations are still coming in.

Michelle Stocks, whose cousin Samantha is Nicole’s mother, took part in the Lincoln 10k Road Race on Sunday April 6.

She missed out on her target time of 55 minutes by just nine seconds, but said: “I was really pleased with the time, and it was a personal best for that race.”

Michelle, who works at Nottingham Building Society in Louth, has been receiving donations from members of the public at work.

Michelle said: “My customers at The Nottingham and friends and family have been very generous and supportive, and I would like to thank them all so much.

“It really has meant an awful lot to myself Sam and her family.”

Michelle will continue to collect donations in store for the next couple of weeks, and you can still donate online at www.justgiving.com/Michelle-Stocks1.
