Ian Tolley, 35, of Mount Pleasant, Louth, allegedly assaulted police constable Mark Potts in the execution of his duty magistrates heard this week.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charge and has been given unconditional bail to appear at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on June 27.

Kirsty Woods, 19, of Broadley Crescent, Louth, has pleaded guilty to stealing £200 worth of clothing from Debenhams in Lincoln on February 22.

The case was conditionally discharged for 18 months.

A charge of failing to surrender having been released on bail was withdrawn.

Kelly Burke, 34, of Seaholme Road, Mablethorpe, has had a warrant for arrest issued after failing to attend a court hearing at Skegness Magistrates’ Court.

She is charged with stealing cosmetics from Boots the Chemists in Seacroft Road, Mablethorpe, and stealing £24 worth of meat from Lincs Co-op in Mablethorpe.

James Waxman, 34, of Byron Close, Mablethorpe, has been remanded in custody until Thursday April 3, after being charged with begging in Mablethorpe High Street on Monday March 24.

He will appear in Lincoln Magistrates’ Court.

He is also charged with assaulting Kimberley Slaney on the same day in Mablethorpe High Street.

He has pleaded not guilty.

Beverley Bennett, 51, of Queen Street, Louth, appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with assaulting Toni Cartwright in Louth on Christmas Day last year.

The case was adjourned until Tuesday April 8 when a plea will be entered.

David Moghan, 65, of Old Plum Tree Lane, Morth Thoresby, has been given unconditional bail after pleading guilty to taking a Ford C-Max without its owners consent at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

He also pleaded guilty to failing to stop the vehicle when required to by a police constable. He has pleaded not guilty to assaulting Barrie Saunders and Jennifer Saunders in Louth on August 23 last year.

Mr Moghan is also charged with assaulting Harry Vickers in High Holme Road, Louth, on October 16. He has not yet entered a plea for this charge.

The case has been adjourned until Tuesday April 8 when he will appear at Skegness Magistrates’ Court.
