Inflatable building put up at Cadwell Park near Louth for filming of Hollywood blockbuster Rush

A LARGE inflatable structure has been put up at Cadwell Park to house vintage vehicles for the filming of Hollywood blockbuster Rush.

Director Ron Howard says he had a busy day shooting at the racing circuit on Tuesday.

He wrote on Twitter: “Historic owner-driver teams gave it their all today from 1st light to our rap time.

“Lots of cool options for camera team to capture.

“Realistically intense F3 action played out with a mix of precision drivers and owner-racers Safe-but-quick today.”

He said of the inflatable structure: “Our temporary garage for Rush. This inflatable building was vibrating with revs prior during Rush shooting.”

And Ron said he was impressed with the Wolds: “Amazing country side today.”

Formula 1 film Rush is set in the 1970s.
