Jesus statue vandalised outside Louth church

A statue of Jesus outside St Michael's Church in Louth has been vandalised overnight (August 22-23), according to local residents.

Resident Andrew Austin sent in the photograph (above) to the Louth Leader this morning, saying that he believed the vandalism had occurred overnight.

The bottom half of the Jesus statue has been painted black, and a graffiti tag ‘LN11’ has been painted on the statue’s base.
