Jordan from Sutton on Sea is growing for gold to mark RHS 50th anniversary

Jordan Havell from Sutton on Sea will be Growing for Gold to celebrate the Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Blooms 50th anniversary.

Jordan will be hosting a Sunflower seed sowing party to celebrate this landmark year.

Jordan will be joining thousands of other gardening groups and individuals in a mass planting of Sunflower seeds during National Gardening week to celebrate 50 Golden years of Europes largest gardening campaign. Growing for Gold is the theme for this Britain In Bloom 2014 and the RHS will be providing half a million pollinator friendly seeds that will be sown across Britain. Jordan’s seed sowing party will take place at The Willows in Station Road,Sutton on sea on Tuesday, April 15 from 3-5pm and everyone is welcome.
