Members of Keep Louth Special, the campaign group that opposes the sale of Louth’s Cattle Market in order to make way for a new supermarket, have presented a 4,300-strong petition at East Lindsey District Council headquarters in Manby in a bid to stop what KLS have called a “dangerous plan” which they believe would destroy the town.

Prominent KLS campaigner Nick Louth (front left) presented the petition to East Lindsey District Council’s Chief Executive, Stuart Davy, on Wednesday May 21.

Other KLS campaigners, pictured above, include Phil Gobbett, Ann Macdonald, Maureen Deene-Jones, Louise Niekirk and Natasha Kirkpatrick.
