Meet Kelly Uprichard, the new East Lindsey Hospice Representative for St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice based in Louth.
She is based in the hospice shop in Queen Street and will be travelling around meeting supporters and families who benefit from hospice services.
Kelly said: “I wanted to work for an organisation where I felt my actions were meaningful and where I could still utilise the skills I developed in teaching. Working for the hospice has given me the opportunity to present and liaise with local businesses, organisations and individuals to ensure that the hospice has continued support from the local community.
I love working for the hospice and far from being a sad place to work, on any day of the week, the children’s hospice is filled with laughter ensuring that each child’s abilities are maximised through individual flexible care plans and one to one care. It is inspiring to see the positive effects of the personalised care that is offered.”
Email her with fundraising ideas at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07730 748516.
She will be happy to support your initiatives and looks forward to hearing from you.
She is also hoping to develop supporter groups in all the local towns so if you would like to help with that she would love to hear from you.
