Linkage Community Trust has been shortlisted for a national award for helping service users find jobs and persuading employers to consider recruiting them.
Linkage, which operates specialist further education, care services and supported employment across Lincolnshire is through to the finals of the Social Justice Awards, which were created to demonstrate achievement with disadvantaged people.
The Linkage submission for the ‘SME (small and medium-sized enterprises) Award for delivering Social Justice’ highlights the charity’s 37-years in providing the opportunity for young adults with learning disabilities to build a more positive future. The winner of the awards will be announced on October 30.
Ges Roulstone, chief executive, says: “Our team works hard with students and service users to achieve the best, and we have many stories of success. I am so proud we are shortlisted for the award and the way Linkage is showing what can be achieved.”
