Lost tortoise in Louth

A Louth woman has discovered that her pet tortoise has gone missing, and is offering a reward to anybody who can return him to her safely.

The resident discovered that the tortoise had gone missing from her garden in Kenwick Road, Louth, on Saturday (June 21).

She said: “I’m not sure how he would have got out, as the garden is well-secured. But I will offer a good reward to anybody who can return him to me.” She added that the tortoise has added sentimental value, and he was a 50th birthday gift from her mother before she passed away.

The seven-year-old tortoise is around eight inches long, and the specific breed is a Hermann’s tortoise.

Call the resident on 07729 251885 if you have any information.
