A Green Deal and renewable energy company from Louth, LS Green Energy, has been nominated for two categories in the National Green Deal and ECO Awards 2014. The business has been nominated for ‘Insulation & Fabric Installer of the Year’ and ‘Boiler & Renewables Installer of the Year’.

LS Green Energy will be up against three other East Midlands-based companies for the first award, and five other companies for the second award.

The ceremony will take place at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel in London on May 29. Awards will be presented by actor John Hurt, and Brian Blessed will give the after dinner speech.

Managing Director Luke Chapman and Director Stuart Ewing attended an exclusive ‘Green Deal or No Deal’ networking event in the House of Commons last month. Mr Ewing described the event, which was attended by MPs, housing association officials, local government officials and leading figures within the industry, as “a great success” for the company.
