Louth man denies attempted murder of girlfriend
A man is to face a jury trial after denying a charge of attempting to murder his girlfriend.
Kevin Roberts, 52, of Bramley Close, Louth, is alleged to have strangled Amanda Jones during the early hours of Sunday September 2.
Roberts pleaded not guilty to attempted murder when he appeared before Lincoln Crown Court.
He was remanded in custody to await his trial which is due to start on February 25.
