Louth murder inquiry man’s bail is extended for the second time

The 23-year-old man who was arrested following the death of Louth man Richard Woods has been rebailed for a second time. The man, who has not been named, was due to answer bail this afternoon (Friday March 28) but will now remain on bail until Wednesday April 2.

A murder inquiry was opened in January morning following a post-mortem examination. The 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken in for questioning.
