Town and Country Kiddies Nursery in Louth celebrated Chinese New Year in style. They marked the occasion with an exciting feast and fun activities.
The children tasted prawn crackers for a snack, and then enjoyed a freshly cooked Chinese meal of honey-glazed chicken with noodles which they attempted to eat with chopsticks. An exotic fruit dessert followed.
The children then made swirly snakes, chinese lanterns, and baked fortune cookies to take home and share with their families. Afterwards, they examined lucky money envelopes before settling down for a story and discussion about what the ‘Year of the Horse’ may bring in terms of fortune for some.
General Manager Louise Davies said: “A really fun day was had by all”.
