The Parkinson’s UK Louth & District Branch Parkinson Players gave a matinee performance of their revue entitled Where Did It All Go Wrong? in The Studio at Louth Playgoers Riverside Theatre.
It was a sell-out performance with many people disappointed because they could not get tickets.
Moya Rooke who wrote, produced and directed the revue said she was very proud of the cast who showed a great deal of commitment and dedication which paid off on the day as their performances far exceeded her expectations.
The drama group made up from members of the Louth branch is believed to be the only one in existence throughout the whole of Parkinson’s UK.
In the time the group has been going the confidence of all the members has grown enormously. They now feel comfortable not only reciting their own poems but are happy to take part in sketches or perform monologues and time spent rehearsing is proving to be an enjoyable activity.
