The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway Society will be publishing another local interest book titled‘Louth - a Lincolnshire Railway Centre at the end

of March. The book by Alf Ludlam will be £5.95 and available at local bookshops as well as the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway shop at Ludborough. This photo of Louth station is featured in the book. It shows an Immingham-based class B1 4-6-0 locomotive No 61130 coming to a stand alongside Louth South signal box, with the morning Cleethorpes-Kings Cross passenger train in the early 1960s.

No 61130 was built in 1947 and withdrawn after a short working life in September 1962.
