Louth Royston’s Deli up for National Recycling Award
ROYSTON’S Deli in Louth has been shortlisted for a prestigious National Recycling Award.
The Queen Street deli is one of six retailers up for the prize, which is to be announced at a London event in July.
The judges congratulated the business on its ethical stance on packaging reduction, composting, recycling and closed loop waste management.
Chef-proprietor Chris Royston said: “We have been working hard to reduce our impact on the environment. This has meant composting kitchen waste, sourcing biodegradable packaging and encouraging customers to re-use or recycle.”
