James Elliott, of Waterloo Road, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on May 19.

The court heard the 15 charges, which include:

• Three charges of inciting a child under the age of 16 - including a girl aged 10 - to engage in sexual activity;

• Four charges of causing an underage child to be sexually exploited;

• One charge of distributing indecent photographs of children;

• One charge of possessing 659 incident images of children;

• One charge of possessing an extreme pornographic image which portrayed a person having sexual intercourse with a live horse;

• Five charges of making indecent still or moving images of a child.

All but one of the alleged offences occurred between October 2014 and March 2015.

The remaining charge, of distributing indecent photographs of children, allegedly took place between January 2013 and March 2015.

Elliott was ordered to face a jury trial due to the severity of the allegations, and no pleas were indicated.

His case was sent to Lincoln Crown Court, where he will appear on June 16.

Elliott was granted conditional bail until that date, with conditions including the prohibition of any direct or indirect contact with children.
