Mablethorpe man admits stealing over £2,300 worth of scratch cards

Jonathan Simons, 32, of Faldos Way in Mablethorpe, has pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing £2,379 worth of scratch cards from a newsagents in Mablethorpe.

Simons appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on July 5, where he pleaded guilty to the offence which occurred at The Paper Rack in Seacroft Road on June 16.

He was remanded on bail while a pre-sentence report is prepared, and he is due to appear at Skegness Magistrates’ Court for sentencing on July 26.

In the meantime, Simons must adhere to an electronically-monitored curfew between 10am and 6am daily, and he live and sleep each night at his home.
