Man, 21, stole clothing and electrical items in Louth

James Dean Watson, 21, of no fixed address but formerly of Ramsgate, Louth, was sentenced at Skegness Magistrates' Court on July 8 after jointly stealing clothing and electrical items on separate occasions.

Watson pleaded guilty to both offences at a previous hearing at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on May 17.

The first incident, which took place at Yorkshire Trading on November 27 last year, involved the theft of clothing worth £32.

Watson was ordered to pay £16 in compensation.

The second incident involved trespass at Riverhead Court in Eastgate, Louth, and the theft of electrical items from the property.

For this, Watson was sentenced to a community order including 100 hours of unpaid work in the community, and a rehabilitation activity requirement which includes up to 15 days of activities and appointments with the responsible officer.

Watson was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs, and a £60 victim surcharge.
