Man appears in court charged with death of Sutton on Sea girl

A MAN has appeared in court charged with the death of a 14-month-old girl in Sutton on Sea.


Darryl Elliott, 29, of Sandringham Drive, Sutton on Sea, appeared before Boston Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.

He spoke only to confirm his details, and at this point entered no plea.

As reported by the Leader, 14-month-old Amelia Bowmar died of a suspected brain injury at Sheffield Children’s Hospital on Monday night.

The case was committed to Lincoln Crown Court where Elliott will attend a first hearing tomorrow with his solicitor Dave Clapham.

He has been remanded in custody.
