Man suffers head injuries after ‘bottle attack’ in Louth
A man suffered head injuries after what appears to have been a glass bottle attack in Louth on Friday morning.
Police were called by ambulance crews at 3.14am on Friday morning to Queen Street, it transpired that a man had suffered a gash to his head and a cut lip.
Police believe he had been attacked with a glass bottle.
The man was taken to Grimsby Hospital and then onto Hull Royal Infirmary where he had an operation on his lip earlier today.
The man also suffered a broken nose but has since been released from hospital.
Police are keen to trace anyone who was in the area at the time who may have information to help track down the attacker.
Anyone with information should call the non-emergency 101 number and quote incident 32 of October 26.
